Just got soaked doing the lower radiator yeehaw. Do I have to use 1gal of distilled h2o after the gal of dex?

Where do I put the fluid in the resevor box or radiator? Do I start the engine first with no coolant so it circulates evenly?

Get an empty gallon and fill half with water and half with coolant... depending where you live, you might be better off using distilled....

pour directly into radiator... don't fill to the rim, fill to where you can see it...then crank, and fill again to where you can see it... allow the truck to warm up, turn on heater on low..

After it's been idling some 10 minutes squeeze the hoses, you need to get air pockets out of the cooling system....

Welcome to the modern automobile. Back in Ye Olde Times, when there was no CEL or it was extremely limited, people just assumed as long as it's not sounding funny, shaking, etc. it's running just fine. But now that CEL shows us just how wrong we are. Constantly.

If that is the torque app, you can go into settings and change the unit of measure so you will see, fahrenheit, psi, gallon, etc. I think the default is liters, celsius, etc.

Good. Probably left over CEL from earlier. Clear it and keep rolling.
