Engine coolant block drain

Does anyone know if the 5.3 has an engine coolant block drain? If so, a picture would be awesome. Since winter is coming I want to install a circulating block heater. With this heater, the entire coolant, block and heater core are heated to temperature. And when you start the truck, it throws heat right away. I have one on another vehicle and it is so much better than a block heater.

on the ls2 it is the large bronze plug on the driver side, just forward of the motor mount. should be the same on the lh6

Thank you. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Now to figure out the type of thread so I can buy a barbed hose fitting with the same threads.
