Climate control backlighting

This morning I noticed that the backlighting for both the front and rear defrost buttons are out. The other buttons: off, recirc and A/C were lit so I am assuming it may be a blown light or two. Can anyone instruct me on how to replace the bulbs or let me know if something else could be wrong?

Hope you know how to solder, you have to remove the old bulbs, then solder in new ones.

How do I get to the bulbs? Could there be another reason only 2 of the lights are out?

Blown bulbs, if 2 are bad you know the rest aren't too far behind. Replaced all with leds(and resistors), much better!

Slapping the side of the dash didn't work? Sounds dumb, but every time a bulb went out in the HVAC unit I just slapped the side and turned back on. Got me, but it works.

Slapping the side of the dash is so much easier than changing those bulbs.
