Please stop posting copyrighted GM text without proper attribution. The formatting is broken, and it exceeds the "fair use" exemption in copyright law. Don't want GMTN to get in trouble. That text was from a 2001 Techline publication, but it's probably been reposted who knows how many times on other sites.

PM me about the source of the images as well, in case we have to take those down.

Funny this thread comes up.... Im outside RIGHT now with my valve cover off getting ready to replace my actuator
