Bucket Seat Cushion Replacement

Well it's that time. There is no life left in the driver's or passenger cushions and it has caused me to go through a couple of the bottom side covers due to snapped mounts. All your weight is pretty much resting on the plastic causing the fractures. Anyway, I searched for a sticky or step-by-step on how to replace the cushions and found none. Any help is much appreciated.

On the OS is a very detailed thread with lots of clear pic by someone who swapped his cloth covers for leather. It is not a sticky over there and it is several years old so it may take some time to find.

From the dealer, a new cushion foam is at least $100.
You may be surprised at what a competent auto upholstery shop can do for you. Of course if you remove the seats and seperate the backrest from the seat bottom your bill will be less than if you just drive your truck to their shop.
