Ball Joint Questions

I have some play in upper ball joint drivers side, about 1/16 to 1/8. I noticed outside tire wear on driver side tire and it pulls to right sometimes, is that a result of the DS upper ball joint? I guess I should do lower at the same time. Does this also mean I should do upper and lower on passenger side too? Then an alignment maybe?

U probably need to replace the ubj. Most shops will not align if ur ubj or tierods are shot.
