I was just sitting thinking about my accident and had a question pop into my head. I was rear ended at a complete stop and was hit at about 50mph. My air bags never deployed. I am assuming that they did not deploy because I was at complete stop. Just curious if this is right.

I don't think your speed had anything to do with it. It was the end you were hit in. If you had been hit in the front at that speed I am quite sure your air bags would have deployed. They are meant to protect in head on collisions and the newer one in side collisions. Your seats with headrests protect from the rear.
