A very good friend of mine is selling his 1997 GMC Yukon. It is 4x4, has the 5.7 engine. It has 227K miles. It's in pretty nice condition. Has the G80 differential in the 3.73 ratio. He had the transmission rebuilt by a good local shop and it has about 25k miles on it since the rebuild.
It may have a bad head gasket. I will do a hydrocarbon test on it to confirm. He says the oil is not milky. He's asking $1500.00 but I can probably get it for $1300.00 I've built a few 350 engines over the years so am familiar with the engine if it needs head gaskets.
I will go check it out and take a few photos to post up here. I'm looking for something a little bigger than my Envoy for towing. Will keep my Envoy for weekend day trips.
