LEDs make a big difference in the reverse lights. I can actually see through my tinted windows at night when backing up. Have you seen the HID reverse light kit? Ridiculously bright

Couldn't sleep late last night, too restless with the time change. I had my rear emblems blacked out with Plasti Dip. So I peeled off the rear to expose the chrome in order to match my front grill. However the plastdip is not perfect, contemplating peeling it all off and just painting the GMC logo. We shall see, that is a project for next weekend.

I have seen the HID reverse kit, I know those are way better than LED. With LED reverse lights I actually lost the flood light effect that OEM bulbs produce.

Optix 10K HID are installed on the low beams. I just did the capacitor mod so I could get the full 12V I need. When I purchase the high beams in a few weeks, I will probably just do the quad beam/ drl killer mod.

It lights up the entire street haha. Plus the detail in the blue light is great. Thoroughly happy with how they work

It's been a while since I've updated my build. I have mostly been taking it easy. Trying to save up for a new apartment. But I have done a few things. For starters, I did the LED interior mod (not the dash or gauges) just my dome/ courtesy lights. I also did a black and chrome Envoy rear badge to match the rest of my badges. I just looked on my phone and realized I didn't take pictures of the rear Envoy badge, so I'll get those & post them up.

So I found some 20" Akuza Blades for a steal. I'm planning on picking them up this Saturday (unless something happens) But I think they will look good. I did a mockup but I think that I made them 22" instead of 20". What do you think? Ugly or Cool?

In due time, it seems that everytime I get a little cash saved I have to spend it on an emergency repair.

They look good. Something different other than OE/Replica TBSS wheels. Might some some tires with a larger side wall to fill in that wheel well. Maybe its just the photo shop, but tires look like rubber bands and the rear wheel looks like an 18".

Either way I think they will look good on the Voy.

I agree dman, my photoshop skills are lackluster haha. I think I did the front as a 22". When I get them they are going gloss black.

Got the new wheels installed today. I took the tires that came with them (craigslist) to my tire guy. He said he in good conscience could not install them because they were old and cracking. So I got four new tires with matching chrome lugs. I like them and I needed new tires anyway so I'm feeling it was a smart mod choice.

Ya, 20". Its big enough for now. I think I am going to keep them chrome for now. Maybe black accents in the future. I need to design something that will look good.

I like the recess of the spokes on the face and you can see the reflection of the green calipers.

You could always experiment with plasti dip, but the chrome definitely looks good. The wheels set of the exterior look of your ride

Now that I have the wheels, I'm fantasizing about dropping with a Belltech system (see photoshop below). Next step though is safety, i need new upper ball joints and I want to upgrade to Moog. (roughly $200 if I do the work myself.)
But then I can go this route, I think it's the perfect drop for my truck (no offense to laying frame people, your Voys and TBZ are bad arse!) But my truck is a daily driver and I don't have the skills or cash flow to install air.

I got to work an hour early today after acquiring some color match paint for my truck. I decided to take advantage of the sun and do my mirror covers right. I did them once before but the color was a shade off and it drove me crazy, so I reverted back to black. Now they are pearl green. Apologies for the picture. I was in the shade.

So my mods have slowed down, all I've been doing is routine maintenance. I flushed all of my fluids, replaced the alternator & battery and done a tune up. I just passed 100,000 miles & I am trying to make sure I cover all my upkeep. One notable thing I have done is I upgraded to the Brakemotive drilled & slotted rotors & ceramic pads. This is a purchase everyone should make, brakemotive is a great product. The stopping power is like night & day. It definitely grips quicker.

My AC levels 1 and 5 stopped working. So I Replaced my blower motor resistor and while I was on it, charged my AC system. Works great and blows ice cold.
