    Quick Transmission Question

Hey everyone, question regarding the I6 models. The tldr version is can a 2wd transmission be swapped into a 4wd Trailblazer? I recently rear-ended someone and the insurance company wants to claim a total loss. I have been exploring different options over the past few days trying to decide my...

    Daily Driving Lifted Trailblazer?

Which word would you prefer I use? I just think his build is a good compromise between being able to drive it daily and making it a little more capable off road.

    Daily Driving Lifted Trailblazer?

How tall are those tires you're running? That looks like a more reasonable setup than most I see on ORTB.

    Brighter Back-up Lights Needed

I bought a pair of single row led flood lights and mounted them to the bottom of the bumper. I have a relay that is switched by the trailer reverse lights fuse powering them and the setup has worked flawlessly for several years now. They even survived a rear ending. The stock backup lights are...

NEED HELP 2003 Basic Audio System

Well, replacing those speakers is about as simple as it gets as far as audio systems go to be honest. At an absolute minimum you will have to cut the old plug off and crimp on new spade connectors, preferably solder them. If you're comfortable removing the door panel and tearing into your car...

NEED HELP 2003 Basic Audio System

I got a pair of good quality JBL's off amazon a couple years ago when my rear door speakers went out. Mooseman said that you could expect a marginally better sound quality out of decent aftermarket speakers and that isn't my experience. The new ones are significantly more clear at all...

    Help with Transmission

I had to replace the rear hatch handle once. The plastic broke where the cable connects. It's fairly simple/self-explanatory once you get in there and look at it. As Mooseman said, there is an access port to get to the mechanism.

    Critters living in your vehicle

Realism: Thanks for the reply. It's good to see someone else with a science background around here. Mine is actually in biochemistry. I know full well the power of bleach, I simply used a rag with Clorox sprayed on it to wipe everything down. No harm done. Thanks for looking out though! I agree...

    Critters living in your vehicle

Got a few miles down the road in a Suburban when the dash suddenly lit up like a Christmas tree and I lost power steering. I wrestled the truck to the side of the road and popped the hood. It looked like a crime scene in there, blood guts and bone everywhere. I looked a little bit closer and the...

    Rear washer pump not working

Also, I know this might sound stupid but it wouldn't hurt to check. My rear pump seemingly stopped working once but it was just that the nozzle slid down the blade and crimped the hose. Sometimes it's the simple things.

    Hello Everyone!

The 2-3 shift started to "hang" at the about the beginning of summer. The best way to describe it would be that it wouldn't up-shift at the rpm I was used to but would continue to climb in rpm past that point but not increase acceleration. If that makes any sense. It got worse and worse to the...

    Hello Everyone!

I have used this site and the old one since I bought my truck back in late 2012. There is so much useful information sometimes I find myself just reading posts to see if I can learn something about my car. I started posting here somewhat recently but just saw there was a introduction area so I...
