They're tweeters and being the "upmarket" sound system they're 2ohm speakers.

Best if you can find around 3" for replacement.

I'd try and find a good set at a pick-n-pull yard. They usually have a good return policy and you can keep returning them until you find a good pair.

Look into Infinity. They have a domed 2" and a 3" mid that are both 3 ohm.
I am using the stock Bose head unit and amp right now.
I am using the Infinity Kappa 303S 3" in my dash. I made my mounts out of press board to fill in holes from a larger speaker.
I know I had a pair of aftermarket mounts here but can't find them for a part #. You can buy the mount made to fit the dash if needed at crutchfield.com or similar sites.
My 3" sound pretty good paired with the stock bose door speakers but I am going to replace the door speakers and put in tweeters with a set I have had for a while. You might notice a bit of high frequency loss but the over all output of the 303 vs stock is noticably higher.
They have a pretty sweet sound. Not harsh or shrill like a dedicated tweeter blasting in your face might sound like.
I had to replace the rears a few years ago.
I replaced those with some 4 ohm coax. They sound fine also.
