As our platform ages, is it worth keeping an extra exhaust manifold on hand? Mine seems to be fine at 200k miles. I'm just wondering if they fail often enough that it would be good to have one.

I don't think you need to order one ahead of time. They are available in the Aftermarket, like from Dorman and they're supposed to be improved in the areas where they usually crack.

If you already have one, for some reason, then by all means hang on to it.

Local parts store going out of business. Couldn't pass up the price on a new Dorman 674-777.

What about an extra Throttle body and accelerator pedal sensor? Worth having those on my parts shelf?

If at a deep discount, sure. These are getting old and plastics getting brittle. The TBs have been known to break the internal gears.
