This a dog house that I deiced to make for the new family member. Fully insulated for the cold winters if she decides to stay out side. Roof is removable for moving and cleaning. The siding is betel kill pine tongue and groove. The window is double pane insulated and slides open and close for the summer time.

What I have learned over the last couple of projects, probable been cheaper if I would have bought the chess board, and the dog house some where. So when its time for a shed, I'm just going to by one. Enjoy doing the work, my pocket doesn't enjoy it so much.

When I first met my wife and son, they lived in a place that had a small eat in kitchen and they didn't have a kitchen table.
I built one about 3'X4' where with benches that would tuck underneath the table out of the way. It turned out pretty good for rough cut pine that I had to plane. We still have that table and use it for a craft table in the attic. It is still solid as a rock.

I hear ya...but I do like building things. I'm going with a kit when I get a shed...should be able to get it up in a weekend and will save about $600 doing it myself.

Awesome work & beautiful GSP. I also like to do woodworking, but since we moved from Florida most of my tools are in storage because I don't have a workshop.

It is always nice being able to say I made that! I made my daughters head board. Simple but nice. Used some gothic pickets for a picket fence, cedar. The used a couple of cedar 4x4 for the post. Someday i will make the foot board and under dresser.

I don't know how many hours ago I went to that site - and am still there.
If your 'thanks' was slightly sarcastic as well as grateful, I agree!!

No sarcasm...but grateful!

Nice work especially with the dovetail joints.
I've also done some woodworking. Combined some plans for a bookcase with a pie safe (from a couple of Norm's books) to make my wife what looks like an armoire with 6 punched tin panels in the two doors. Turned out pretty good.

Also built a black walnut grandfathers clock that's 6' tall.

One thing to remember is that while it may cost some money for a hobby it's still a lot cheaper than a shrink.
