Don't know whether i am bragging or complaining. Currently -28 degrees C (-18.5 F) and the low tonight is expected to go to -40 C ( -40F) Funny how they meet at this temp LOL.

Now the good part. With the -40C over night the wind chill temps are supposed to hit -50C or so (at this temp who the hell cares) (-58F just for giggles). This is not a joke just checked the weather channel.

Only good thing is I promised a member i would try to get a pic of my Denali registering below -30C on the outside temp gauge. It may or not be possible, the truck lives in a non heated garage that the feels warm HO HO HO.

Good night everyone. :mad::frown::eek:

:iagree:

Currently 16º with a high of 50º today. Sunday night into Monday morning, Titan is coming to play. He is going to be an a$$ hole and leave 10 more inches of snow

Not looking good at all. Currently 41* and the low is 0*. It is going to rain this afternoon then winter storm Titan is going to hit us this evening. The rain is going to turn to sleet. Calling for 1/8" of ice on roads then turning to snow for another 12". Drive into work tonight is going to be awesome. I will take 20" of snow over ANY amount of ice on the roads.

High is below zero. It has now officially been the coldest winter I have ever experienced in over 30 :smile:eek:smile: years.

Weather.com warned of up to 12 inches of snow initally. Then lowered it to 7. seems the storm is pretty much over and we got like 2. Talk about over hyped.

I write meteorologists up as being only slightly more trustworthy than astrologists :rotfl:

People around here hype up the weather all the time. They watch just one channel and assume that it's the God of Weather, therefore it will happen exactly that way, instead of looking around and cross-referencing.

I hope that is true for us, but it has been pouring rain for hours now and the temp is slowly dropping.

That seems to happen all the time. Guys at work was telling me last week that they will not be in to work Sunday night because we are getting 24" of snow  Two weeks or so ago when the last winter storm came through, they said maybe 10"-12", we ended up getting 20" of snow. So who knows how tonight into Monday morning will go.

-3F currently and I thought it was "not so cold" as I stepped out. This is OLD. One more boarding trip scheduled and I can't wait for the low to be above freezing! TB is a champ.

I emphasize with you, not so much for the fact it has been a brutal winter all over but that more of us had to go through it together. I pulled this off a weather web site.

How's this for cold comfort? Saskatoon's deep freeze is likely the longest streak of low temperatures below -25 C (these are daily HIGHS) that has numbed this city since record-keeping began in 1892.

Can't tell you folks how much we love setting records like this.  :frown:

Hope you got some extra boarding in to make up for the pain and suffering we all went through. Is it hard to tell I have a big dose of Cabin Fever and with a record wind chill of -54C Saturday all I can say is good riddance to winter, bring on Spring.

Well, the good thing about this incessant cold is it has killed off a LOT of bugs.

They'll be back. They always come back. Some actually hide in people's houses for the winter :rotfl:

Got a few inches of snow. Of course nothing was done to the roads. It was a free for all on the highway. -5º tomorrow morning :wootwoot:

Single digit temps again, with wind chill warnings for -30 and below... We should be starting to see grass this time of the year -- 2 years ago I was already planting peas in the garden this week. Right now we still have 24" of snow on our yard, FROZE very hard (I can walk on top of it), and no real sign of warming for at least another week and then barely in the 30s.

Global warming, huh. Must have gone the same way that the population explosion and acid rain went... :undecided: Shaping up to be the year without a summer.

At least the weather man was wrong about the winter storm that just came through. About the only time I will be happy that they are wrong. Currently 5* and getting up to the low 50's by this weekend. Time to get the grille out again. Hopefully this trend continues.

Snowing on the way into work. Passed a guy in a S10 that couldn't stop fish tailing. Part of me thinks he was doing on purpose but in the middle of traffic is usually not the best place to screw around. 3 inches coming today, typically means a slow day at work.
