What to wrap? If anything?

So i installed braided trans cooler lines (to the stock cooler). I made some brackets to keep the lines as far away from the catalytic converter as possible, but still want to wrap them with some thermal wrap. BUT should I wrap the lines by the cat or should I wrap the cat itself? Or both? Any suggestions? Is this a waste of time? It's not like I don't have million other things to do just to make it road worthy. Thanks in advance!

I'd just wrap the lines. Wrapping the cat may overheat it.

:iagree:
Wrapping the catalytic converter could be ~bad~. They can turn cherry red under normal operating conditions in certain applications - far exceeding the max temp for most wraps. Keeping that heat in would certainly shorten the life of the matrix inside and could possibly lead to loss of structural integrity (poof).
