This should be fun, what other toys do you guys have besides your GMT??? Anything from hot rods, muscle cars, classic cars, custom cars/trucks, etc etc etc.
I'll start
-1st is my daily driver and winter beater 2010 B5 Blue Challenger R/T(1st pic is before i put the new suspension under it, which is why it looks 4wd, lol)
-2nd is my other show car (for sale) 2003 Chevy Cavalier (full roll cage integrated tube chassis, supercharged, 18k miles, full air suspension, too much to list)
-Next is my wifes truck 1998 Dodge Dakota, all DJM suspension and spindles, custom mixed paint with pearl flames, all shaved handles and tailgate.
-You all know my Envoy, so a different thread is for pics of that.
-and last but not least is the old REALLY BAD WEATHER beater truck 1991 Chevy S10 (her nickname is the S-9, lol), i paid a buck for it (yes $1), runs great, has heat, and has done me no wrong in the 5 years ive owned her, she ain't pretty, but she does the job the few times shes called upon each year, LOL

Phone post, so not sure what the picture size is on the actual board... If they are too big, I'll fix in the morning.

HruPe.jpg

On the left, a 2004 Cavalier... It was a rescue from the previous owner. Needs lots of work. 62k miles. Right now, the only decent aftermarket exterior parts are the hood (class glass turbosport), front bumper (rksport type-j) and tails (Toyota Cavalier, 96-99)

On the right is my baby. 1997 Sunfire. LA1 mated to a MK7 5-speed, Wilwood front BBK, SRT-4 rear discs, Tein SS coilovers, spoiler is the same as the Sunfire Autocross concept. Front and rear facias swapped to 03. ViS CF hood. Exterior bulbs swapped to LED's. Custom cluster (digital gauges).... And more. Lost track of the miles. Always a work in progress... Never will be finished to my liking

Yes, the garage door closes, lol.

Cedro.jpg

My first car... Might have to get rid of it though. 1983 Cutlass Supreme, right now it's a rolling chassis. Cancer (rust) has set in, so at this point I may just strip off whatever parts are still good and scrap the rest.

The paint is actually done and in the process of being wet-sanded now. Engine/tranny have been taken out and are being refreshed. It'll all get put back together as soon as the weather breaks.

I know your pain :sadcry: I don't even have a driveway. On-street parking only - sucks.

Lady friend has an Aveo. Still trying to talk her into something else, but she loves that stupid little car.

I really like the SAAB 9 7x & I keep her beautiful and want it to last forever!!!...So it's garage mate has been a lil car most days to work (when it isn't snowing!)... during my 4 years ownership of the 9 7x in effort to save gas,& miles adding up (now @ 43k) and for plain fun in my 10 mile each way daily commute skirting the boarder of Syracuse ....I started with a 1983 Porsche 944 (<$4000), non turbo 4 cyl, N/A gutless 143hp but with a 5 speed and being glued to the road was fun none the less. Often returning 25-32mpg after I got over the fact all Kias & like will beat me off the line at a light no matter how hard I tried ...so just save the gas..

For the last 18 months, and 12k added miles (now at 82k) the below has been my economy car ($ less than 2 =944's) ... a sweet 2002 - 4 cylinder 6 speed manual transmission returning 24-26 city and 31-33 Highway (74 or 67mph). Oh the 2.3L factory iron block, timing chain driven dual OH cam, inter-cooled Kompressor (yaaa factory super charger)... gives it some real grunt at 192HP, 200ft lbs torque. No longer am I the last one at a light. Of course moving forward 2 decades in a DD commuter with heated leather buckets, & loaded with other MB creature comforts is a real treat too. Here it is right in front of my garage a few weeks ago as I detailed it AFTER I did my 9 7x seen smiling there behind it.

Well, i added one more to the garage today, well, i will before this weekend i should say. I bought the wife a new 2012 Dodge Journey with the new Pentastar V6 AWD, with the big touchscreen in dash deal with nav, heated leather, moonroof, 19inch wheels, and all the goodies. We should pick it up in the next day or two, i'll post pics once we get her home. I've gotten enuff toys over the years, and i got a pretty awesome wife so it was time to get her something nice for once :thumbsup: Plus we just had a baby 11 weeks ago and i gotta have my boy ridin around in style :biggrin:hahaha. We got one in black pearl, and im gonna black out everything up front, tint the tails in the same pearl as the body (just a light coat so light still shows thru good) and billet grilles, and i'd like to throw some black 22's on it, and maybe lower it an inch or so. Pics to come, and even tho its the wifes', its still something new for me to customize:crazy: he he he he

No no.. No Cavaliers.. Been down the Econo-Tuner route already.. Had a nice little Z24 Cavy back some years ago.. Got T-Boned by a Brand New Hyundai (just drove off the Hyundai dealers lot 3 minutes earlier). The girl driving said she was to busy texting her best freinds about her new ride to notice the red light.. Luckily my neices in the back seat had no injurys. I drove that Cavy home. The Hyundai.. Uhm... Well, Most of it went away on 1 tow truck..

Working on my Grand Prix now for the Tuner thing. I am trying hard not to do to much outward mods. Its a rare car, at 1 of 2250 built. But I have massaged the engine some, still have plans for a slightly larger turbo... The thing holding me back is a tranny that can withstand the power. I am putting out 400TQ/HP, the tranny has forged internals, but its a 4 speed 4T40, not one of GM's strongest trannys.

It, too, is out in a storage locker, sitting under a car cover, and some lighter nick nacks (paint isnt great anymore). 1 more month, at it will be sitting in my garage, next to the 69 Camaro... I HOPE!

OK I still don't have a garage but I did get my toy cleaned up and freshly waxed so it looks nice... Then the cell phone camera made it look a little dull again lol. But anyway, my other toy is my 99 Camaro I bought at the beginning of April. It needs some comfort work (exhaust bangs on the underside and rattles for example) but it is fun and I thoroughly enjoy driving it  It isn't stock, and the longer I have it the less stock it will be :satan: But so far I've been able to behave myself for the most part and am maintaining my clean record... :popo:

052012.jpg

No, that isn't my place in the background, so no comments about the garage there  I was visiting my parents over the weekend and washed/waxed the car there since I can't where I live.

Sparky I have a friend with a 2000 z28 and he was having the same exhaust tapping. We found that one of the hangers was loose, and one of the tubes was tapping on a metal brace or something like that (this was a couple months ago). We ended up cutting up a spare tire that was sitting and waiting for bulk pickup, wedged it between the pipe and the brace and it doesn't tap anymore. Try getting under the car and checking, his was on the passenger side.
