I just replaced mine. I ordered a Pioneer Double DIN from Crutchfield. They may be a little more expensive but they make it clear what is included (dash kit, cable and antenna adaptor). They included:
  • American International GMK-422 Dash Kit
  • Metra 40-GM10 Antenna Adapter

And gave me a discount on a:
  • Metra GMOS-01 Wiring Interface
I didn't need it but Metra does make steering wheel adapters.

I posted some details on how I had to assemble the dash kit. I needed to connect the two red wires together for power from the GMOS-01 interface. The main part of the interface is that it provides the warning chimes as well as OnStar You don't absolutely need that interface and can probably find a cheaper/simpler one. But key in ignition and headlight on is important to me though GM has been pretty good in protecting you from those silly mistakes.

Here's the topic I started on configuring the dash kit. I never added the promised pictures and will do so today.
