Only way now to make sure you get a Wix filter is to buy Wix.

Ya know this filter thing has gotten so confusing that I now just go OEM on all my stuff. Jeep-Mopar, Blazer-AC, tractor-Kioti, mower,Kubota....and I sleep real good...

I'd agree on OEM to a point except ACDelco is junk, most using fibre end caps. Even though the ACD seems OK for my LM2 Duramax with metal end caps, I use Wix because it uses a silicone anti-drainback valve, which is better for the cold weather here. However, I've seen some of the ACD with metal caps come apart with the glue not holding the caps in place.

Agreed about most of their filters. The 3.6 in the Blazer uses a high pressure AC filter and it's noticeably more robust than their standard filters.
