Gosh isn't it great? You got a NES, Sega or other game years ago and are too lazy to play it again. Maybe you sold it or gave your games away? Hey my uncle gave me his 8 track tapes.
Just watch the various videos on YouTube where people play the entire game in episodes. You could end up watching for hours but at least you get to see how you should have played it. Kind of cool.
Heck yeah! I love the 8/16 bit games from back in the day, Still have my top loader nes and super nes.

I love watching his stuff. I hope his movie gets picked up so I don't have to wait for a dvd release.

There are only two nes/super nes games that I own that I can't beat. NES: Ninja Gaiden 2 and Super NES: Super ghouls and ghosts. I don't use cheats because not fun.
Super GnG - flawless (I can only get to the fire level right after the raft level)

Then there's stuff like this which is freaking insane:

Then there's the TAS'ers, I love the Super Metroid speed runs. I know it's cheating or whatever, still fun to watch considering I can't even mockball.

Then there's guys rocking out to NES music. This was from the best mega man game (mega man 2).

The games from back then are special to me because that was back before the internet/spoilers so everything was a surprise. I think I did poopies the first time the mecha dragon popped up.
