I found these tires on Craigslist, He said he'll take $100. What should I do? I have $100 max to spend now.

4 used mud tires

A little more info.
I have Marks 2.5 lift
No spacers yet
The tread is getting a little thin on my tires
My wife is just getting back to work after 6 months off with breast cancer, so money is tight!!! (NO NEW TIRES!!!)

ummm what tires? a little more info driver?

Sorry, I was working on the poll and didn't know the post would show up yet.

yea.... ive learned my lesson dealing with used tires... never again for me.... :twocents:

I think its worth taken a look at them. For $100 bucks sounds good

It would seriously depend on the tread depth

Tread looks a little low, but for $100...... I would check them out, look for chunking, plugs, paths, uneven wear, dry rot, etc. Also look for the manufacture date. It would read as something like 3502, or the 35th week of 2002. If thy are better than your and you can't afford new, thy might be good to hold you over. Just make sure thy will last until you can afford new. Nothing worse than getting used tires every six months. In a year you've almost paid for a new set with the cost of the tires plus mount/balance.

I don't have any issue in purchasing used tires, just make sure you take a good look over them and are not getting someone else's problems.

Earn more money and buy new tires. Just kidding, depends on the tread to me. Good call on the manufacture date.

I picked up the Goodyear AT/S's now I need spacers. The good news is I get a bonus Wednesday,so spacers and mount and balance will be coming soon

You've put that together nicely. And without killing the bankroll. Sweet!

I have about $450 in the lift, spacers, alignment, tires, mount and balance. I don't think it can be done much cheaper.

BTW can a mod please close the poll, people are still voting and everything is done.
