Picked it up for $23CAD

Workability: 8-10
Result:9-10
Recommended: Yes

The shine lasts about 2 weeks, then it somewhat dimishes. I wash the truck and throw on Lucas Quick Mist to get the shine back and it looks great!
Paid $10CAD for the bottle. Lasts a while

Nice shine, black is definately a hard color to maintain, but when you do it is the best color.

That stuff is incredible. I may have to give the Black Box a try, my paint needs some serious help!

What did you apply to the plastic on the rear bumper?

The truck looks great by the way !!

I sprayed on some simoniz tire shine on the trim pieces. It doesn't do a good enough job on the tires compared to other products. I picked up 3 cans on sale for $2 each!

Just a word from someone who does detailing as a business (with a orbital buffer...) that all Black Box is is a temporary solution to scratches and swirls. It will eventually wear off (usually fairly quickly after only a couple washes) and doesn't fix them, it just fills them in with a paste.

I did that on our pickup and it was great at first, but no lasting effects. I much prefer polishing the paint so all imperfections are gone, and then topping it with a sealant that will last a good amount of a year

Just my 2 cents. Glad it made a big difference though!

Absolutely right. I just don't have the time, money or experience to invest in a buffer and higher end products. The swirl marks need to be polished out. I like this product because it makes the truck look good, even for a little while

I will definitely try these out. I have to make my truck "presentable" for trips to clients' houses and polishing out scratches/swirls is futile for me as I just add more of them later.

I use the Lucas Slick Mist it works great. I use it in place of washing the truck at times when it's just dusty.
