Unloaded some stuff from my 06 Trailblazer LS and left the back gate open for an hour or two. went out and noticed that the locks sound like they're locking/unlocking on their own every few seconds. I shut the gate and it stopped. what's the deal? funky door switch maybe?

Check the wires in the rear gate. The same thing was happening with my brother-in-laws TBSS
Ended up being 2 broken wires In the bunch.

Also check the ground wire that runs to the D pillar on the drivers side. It's also a part of the wires that run through the lift gate.
If that all checks out I have a question, Any issue opening or locking the truck via the fob? (Or after market alarm if you have one)
