Outside the strut lifts are known as "death lifts". @HARDTRAILZ may chime in to say why they are so bad. If you can, send it back.

Yes i can send it back, of course this will delay things as i was getting ready to tear into thiscproject tomorrow, but bettercto be patient and do it right.

Several people that have come to us with the outside lift on a 4WD have ended up removing them due to binding on the front CV joints. They are easier to install though they still compress the springs a little.

While the outside strut lift may retain a factory ride, it may also lead to $100s and $100s of damage to the CV, ball joints, splined disco and failures that may result in death.
