first off, let me apologize for not posting sooner but we jumped into cleaning, and tweaking and packing. She was certified but I wanted more so we had a 110 point inspection done. She passed with flying colors. So we were off on our delayed trip to Myrtle beach (from Hamilton Ontario). Before we left, we shampooed the engine, new airfilter cause it was as black as the engine was lol and the lad installed our stereo (except for the sub, amps and hertz speakers. We took off and crossed our fingers that she would be fine. She ran like a dream and we had an uneventful trip. We couldn't be happier. We just got back yesterday and I wanted to make sure I posted. Here is our new (to us) 2003 GMC Envoy SLT. not a spot of rust and other then a minor fenderbender (according to carfax) she is awesome. Only 2 things we did notice that need to be fixed. The driver 2 button isn't working and the headlight washers had a blown fuse but still didn't work once it was changed. The scratch on the rear bumper and a few minor dents can stay for now lol

We plan on doing more once we have a chance to slow down lol I decided "we" want a new grill with a bit of bling to it  and Chrome front and rear guards.
We will be doing all the other maintenance things and repairs first.

I do have one question, what is the name of that color? is a dark grey with a metallic in it.

Very nice.

if you check the glovebox door, you should find a paint code you can look up for the color name.

code should be someplace here. ( and they probably can sell you some touch up paint if you want)

Welcome back on both, the new to you Voy and arriving home safely from your delayed trip.

As for your Voy's colour, I'm guessing Carbon Metallic. [Based on '06 colours]

Thanks guys  We are still running like crazy. My ex had a stroke before we left and 2 more since, They were suppose to move asap, but he's still in hospital so it fell on my 23 year old son to help out. Add in the waiting factor for money from IE to help out since he can't work or drive so we are out shopping for small one floor, main floor apartments for them and trying to help out as best we can. Food, money etc. Never take for granted that there is always tomorrow. Cause it can come up and bite ya in the butt.

it's a 2003 with 164 k when we got it, we added another 3500 k with the Myrtle beach trip. From what we can tell it came from Toronto and had all work done to it. We checked the oil when we went to test drive it and it looked freshly changed. it wasn't the lot that did it because apparently they had just posted it 15 min before I spotted it and emailed about it lol. Gregg's best bud worked at a dealership and some of the stuff no one ever does but it all helps. We can see for the safety it got a couple of new ball joints. The engine was really dirty and so was the air cleaner. We gave it a good cleaning and new filter. The wipers were cheapy ones so we picked up new ones down in Myrtle beach and also grabbed those shock thingies that lift the back gate. (it would slowly come back down and smack Gregg in the head lol)

Found my '04 Envoy brochure, 62 - Carbon Metallic listed as well. What's showing up on your SPI label, in the glove box?

I was looking too, (haven't checked the glove box) but I think you're right. There is only one dark grey with metallic for the 2003 so it must be it.

Oh and those new shock thingies for the lift gate work extremely well. Went groceries shopping and if you can picture a kid swinging on a rope, well that's how I felt dangling from the strap trying to get the thing to close LMAO!!
