As the title says, thanks for all the help.
Bought an 05 envoy right before Christmas with 176,000 on it. Almost made it home and the rough idle p0014 popped up.
Just browsing through here I ended up removing the exhaust cam solenoid actuator and replacing it. It functioned and was in spec, but was old and screen on it was not right. Still have the old one.
New ac iridium, air, oil and still ran rough, no codes. A bit of "running" it cleared that up. So a week later I did the other oils. Diffs got syn valvoline, transfer autotrakII, and trans was pumped out through radiator return, filter changed, and another 2 gallons ran through until fluid coming out looked new. That was valvoline vi synthetic.
Outside of a wheel bearing and light bulbs, all is good. Better then good. I had no idea what I was buying and I am surprised at how versatile these are. Will be doing some small mods, but nothing extreme. More for efficiency now then anything.
