I got the last big mod done before the Midwest meet in May... after about 4 months of just having it sitting on my counter , i got off my ass today and installed my 2" drop (with the help of my brother JosueLT, thx again little brother).. the kit consisted of Tony's modified upper control arms to correct the ball joint angle, 2" drop strut mounts (im 2wd so its a lot easier for us ), rear air bag adjustment, and Belltech rear shocks...

and the finish product... I'll take more pix when its daylight out... but you get the idea..

im going to be driving her for about a week to break things in, listen for squeaks, check for loose bolts, and let the suspension settle... then I'll take her for an alignment...

funny you mention that though... i always say "ok, I'm done, that's all i'm going to do to her"... i cant even touch the motor yet... all my go fast parts are just sitting in my garage lol... a project is never done...

I don't even lie to myself anymore, I already have an easy 15-20k+ of mods I still want to do, and that's just things I can think of right now. I'm sure I will figure out more in the future. If all goes according to plan, by the truck is "finished" it will have some pretty heavy mods to a lot of areas. Drivetrain, Sounds, Suspension, Paint, etc. I'll probably never be done either but I can pretend like I am lmao

Ride quality didn't serm that much different.. I only took her for a short trip around the block. . But things "felt" the same...

Lookin' hawt! How much did you lower in the rear? 2"? I went with the full 3" in the rear (Belltech springs) and had to completely remove the rear bumpstops after going through a couple potholes. If anything doesn't feel right check on the clearance with those

I just did the bag adjustment.. I was already sitting at 33-32ish since I did the bag adjustment to match the front while she was stock.. but I cut my bumpstops and went to 31" in the back and the front is sittin just below 31".. so its got a hair rake to it but not noticeable to the eye.. only measuri ng tape lol...

Well that's the hope.. that's why I elected to do some mods.. to make me fall in love with her again and actually enjoy what I pay for every month lol... in hopes that my crate motor will be the last motor to be installed...
