Anyone planning on going?

I have not heard much from anyone lately about it. I typically always go for the whole weekend, but with hopefully closing on my house this week and doing a hefty remodel plus having 2 weddings that weekend, I am not sure it is fully doable. But I am not so hard to sway towards a good time, so....

I am making room reservation this week, and planning for the whole weekend.
 
I'm going to be with family that weekend.

I've been wanting to make it over for that. Was hoping for this year but wife just lost her job. I'd have to probably park somewhere else since I'm a flat lander /"Mall Crawler".
 
Elsewhere. Totally different state. First full family vacation get-together in years.

I'll bring a golden 4x4 for you to rest your tire on.
 
The problem is it's my dd and I'm still paying on it. I've been off road quite a bit. Not as hard as you guys go and haven't posted about it. All that may change soon. Someone else may get the chance to beat it.
 
You are gonna let the wife take it to Badlands?
 
She'd love it! She drives it a lot when we're on the logging roads. She grew up mudding too. I'm starting to dislike mud the older I get!
 
Mud gets old. I like a little but too much just sucks

The guys I go with around here call my rock sliders stump grabbers! I try to always carry a chainsaw when I go. I need to fill in the gaps with some plate steel.

I registered during lunch. Red and I will be down there.

ETA: Oh yea, are you making and pickled green beans anytime soon? Red will not shut up about wanting some. I'll trade ya a jar of hot carrots.
 
I made a mix of beans, carrots, pickles. Will have some. Did not get real hot but they are pert good I think
 
OK folks, one week away. It sounds like there will be five of use there.

1. Regulator (Matt)
2. Hardtrailz (Kyle)
3. Hatchet (Joe)
4. Hotness (AJ)
5. Razorback

There is also a maybe still out there.

I will be at the gate at noon on thursday when they open up the fairgrounds. I will be roping off a spot for our group in our normal area. Hopefully I will be there early enough to get on the corner where the parade route turns into the vendors row. It is a high traffic spot and will get a lot of attention.

I have a couple of camp grills and tables. Anyone able to bring a pop up tent? If not we can stretch a tarp between two trucks roof racks. I will have a tarp and bungees if this is the route we have to go. Otherwise, bring your chairs, coolers (alcohol friendly despite what the signs say, just don't be stupid), and food. If anyone has parking lot games (ladder ball, corn hole, washers, ect) bring those as well.

I have washers, but my pop-up tent was slightly destroyed by the wind. I got a really cheap replacement that may or may not last an hour, but will bring it.
 
Is there a need for jack or jackstands? Is there anything else we might possibly need? I do not have a pop up tent unfortunately.
 
I don't have skid plates on but can bring em if you want to bolt em back on my truck?

I was gunna have all my skids on last night, but I can't seem to find any of the bolts. for any of the skids...

I found 2 bolts and 10 holes so they are in the garage
 
One of these times, me and the stocker are going to Indy.
 
I will be there Saturday, but I wont be registered to come in, but I should see u all there, I cant wait.

If I can figure out the sizes and lengths, i'm gunna stop at a hardware store ti get some bolts and bring it with.
 
I may be able to piece enough bolts together but I don't think I have the time or energy to mount that bigass TC skid
 
The reason I didn't register, mine don't look like all of yours, its just lifted and has bigger tires

That's what mine looks like. I don't have anything to fancy. Mainly its just a spot for me to sit and store stuff lol.

ETA: I agree wtih Kyle. Show them what it could look like with a few hundred bucks into the ride instead of the blood sweat and tears that are in ours.
 
Then you should brought it in and shown how good a basic setup looks
 
At the gate I believe is only way now.
