NEED HELP Reman 4l60e shift points amd pressure

Jus got done installin new reman transmission tranny is solid accept for taking off the line it wants to jolt at bout 3 or 4 mph. Like a upshift but not evem 8 mph after next upshift and ita gotta mean shift when shes done @limequat ive read alot of ur posts aj threads and i could use ur knowledge

TCC would not engage at such a low speed or affect shifts. Or is it the TCC clutch engagement you're feeling and seeing the RPM drop? If the rebuilder did a performance build, they usually eliminate PMW either with a shift kit or modding the solenoid. It kinda feels like a fifth gear engaging with PWM elimiated with a positive engagement. To confirm this, when it happens, tap the brake, If the RPM jumps up, that's it.

Its something to do with either a ses box not properly checked with the no mil light or mil 1 mil 2 or no error read cause when i bought the vehicle and first read the comp with a jet dst programmer it came back as.2011 silverado 1500 5.7 jus showed my vin tho and ever since then i havent veen able to get it to perform or shift wot or even better when im rolling into a 2nd or 3rd gear pull sure enough as soo. As i got to lay it to the floor it goes to try n junp down a gear or pops into neutral or something releases and it takes a 2nd to get back into it. How do i get rid of the part throttle shift points when im in like if im under 75% tps then itll run on part throttle map and if it reads more then 75 it goes into wot shift and loads down to the next gear and grabs with alot of pull and the tach will jump to like 4800 and ride at 6k till its ready to go into 3rd then i have to slowly get back into it but it releases so often now ive come to the xonclusion that its something in my map or the diagnostic engine section to do with which transmissin comp arw checked or not checkwd woth the right no mil thing maybe u can tell me how to send u a file to show u the engine diagnostic settin and u can see if its wrong or wright but i do know when i had first got it they told me it was a 4l80e tranny and was set to manuel shift by lettin off the gas a rch then back into it and it really drove like a stick accept for the take off but its a real 4l60e with 3 year unlimited mile warranty now new torque conv and extra clutch packs and shoft kit and all the plastic internals from gm were replaced with billet aluminum so im happy with everything accept still popping out of the gear so that tells me its not just the transmission and that we can get more miles out of the car then u should ask the person. If they interested in sharing or helpin with this id appreciate something i mean its 276k miles n a lil stock but itll b able to handle more weight then u think

Something you might need to discuss with the rebuilder. Sounds more serious than just a PCM tune issue. If prior to the new tranny it shifted OK with the old tranny before it died and the tune wasn't changed, then I would assume an issue with the new one, all else being equal. No tune would make the tranny drop out of gear (neutral like you describe) while shifting. You could try another PCM with the stock tune.

The tranny beforw lost 2nd gear and i could never get it to hold in gear at wot or anything past 85 percent throttle so it could be my tps in the throttle body is bad. It will cause the tranny to act up were should my tcc. Apply and release numbers b at and then the release tcc if tps exceeds this value

I mean the tranny has a 3 year unlimited mile warranty from street smart transmission and there 4l60e upgrade kits replace all oe plastic parts that failed and added a extra clutch pack in the 3 4 gear bands i think and the plastic 1-2 accumulator pistons been replaced with aluminum parts and a shift kit so i think i need help with maybe runnin my scanner config the right way and know what to put were i dont understand all of it im from the d school days

So i have figured out that it was a hard parts problem @limequat u were right but it was something to do with the 10 quarts of oil the warranty instruction read or it voids warranty so inbetween the fill up and starts up and errands i decided to recheck the oil level and it had like 1 n 1/2 quarts to much so i drained it till i had to add back to correct level and the company said when they hot n cold dyno test it the leave the converter in place and 3 strap it 3 ways 2 up top n 1 in bottom to the tq bolt hole for fly to match up and they instructed it to stay on and not even check if it was full of oil or not so im assuming it was a air pocket or jus inital break in but my new dilema to fix with it is wot shifts it wont shift on time wot i have to back off the gas and i am thinkin something to do with the part throttle tables on hp tuners for normal mode performance cruise and hot each have a table but there damn near the same as each other and the 100% tps vs mph vs gear is all the same 1-2 42 mph 100% tps 2-3 81 mph 100% tps and 3-4 is like 120mph 100%tps and in all reality to get them to shift T the rpm and mph i have to hold it wot till its almost therr then back off the pedal to about 75%tps and as i do that and it shifts sometimes i feel like it accels harder with more than part throttle but less than wot any insite

This issue has been resolved as being an overfilled transmission. This thread is locked.
