Recalibrate Speedometer

Can the speedometer be recalibrated with Tech II? I changed my wheels on my 08 tb to the 20" tbss wheels and when i did that we also changed the cluster. the cluster is off by 2 miles when and i know that because i'm using garmin gps. any imput is appreciated

More then likley not, you have to send your PCMforless can change it, and while they have it, you should get a tune as well.

i had the son of a neighbor,( he is a chevy cert. mech.), recalc. mine when i went to larger tires.(245 to 265's)
not sure what he instrument he used, but it's the hand held diagnostic computer that they have @ the dealership
IIRC 06 or 07 and up can be recalc'd :twocents:

I am pretty sure that only the Tech II and similar high-end scanners are the only ones that can change the calibrations.

to the OP, yes a TechII can be used on 06 and newer to change the tire size for calibration.

thank you guys, i'll follow up with an update once i get a chance to connect Tech II
