REAR UPPER CONTROL ARM PIVOT POINTS - 2005 4.2

Hi guys,
Anybody have the Pivot Points for the Rear Upper Control Arms welded?

I don't have any photos but both Rear Upper Control Arms were rusted .
The front pivot Points seem to be the weakest part of this design as seen in some DIY videos.
Fortunately only the driver side was bad and had to welded on the inside.

I'm trying to get a handle on how much this might cost and
does the gas tank need to be removed?

The place I used charged me $1400, I feel like I got raped...but I don't know.
I don't have any idea how much welding costs these days so I'm hoping I can learn something from you guys.

The frame mount for the rear trailing arm is rusted to the point I don’t trust it anymore. I found pre made ones on Amazon , is there anything special I need to know because it seems pretty straight forward cut off and tack new ones on. Also is there anyone in the nyc area that can recommend...
