I spotted this VERY clean Denali at some stereo shop in Erie PA a couple days ago. Totally custom paintwork- the pics don't do it justice. It's kind of like a pearly gray/white. Chrome Denali emblems on the doors also. Looked pretty stock otherwise. I hung out a few mins waiting for the owner so I could tell him/her about the site, but had a wife and kid in the car w me...

I was behind this Escalade during a traffic jam on the morning commute. Almost didn't notice the badging mod. Nicely done IMO, not too flashy or gawdy.

3 LS's, and XLE, and an LT. Each and all with their resonators still. Yeah it was a strip mall mid-week during the day. Mine's the close one. There was also an slt envoy parked a few spaces farther than me, an employee perhaps-lol, but I wasn't about to walk farther to take a pic with my phone. It was a Greystone/Charcoal color. And a resonator. In 2013.67 too.

Those are some sweet pink wheels. After seeing the new Escalades with their upgraded wheel size, those look a little goofy, especially pink

I noticed that the SS doesn't have the goofy antenna on the passenger side, it has the shark fin thing... Those can be difficult to install though, has anyone tried to put one of these on? I'm thinking about grabbing one.

The SS still has a regular antena the shark fin was for XM. if you do not listen to AM just unscrew your antenna the FM will still work fine that's what most of us will do to clean up the front.

Bullshit. FM works OK in cities, but not at all outside. There is a night and day difference in the antenna up vs tucked under the cowl. I really wanted to leave mine down, but poor radio performance forced me to stand it back up.

I can see the location being an issue, I have never had an issue when I actually use the radio. I maybe use the radio once every 2 months when my ipad is dead.


Ditch the antenna get an AUX port its 2013 unless you like talk radio then your kind of screwed.

I second that. I have the little 3in antenna and we live in the. Country and it gets horrible reception. Drive to a city and it's clear as day.

Ultimately I would like that antenna gone because it's kinda hideous... But I still want FM radio when I drive down to my lakehouse, so is there something I can do to get rid of that antenna and still get good reception?
