What a mess. Needs a bath, but it would just freeze over trying to do that.

265/75/16. Just a tad under 32" tall. I have Mark's 2.5" lift and wheel spacers.

You should see oem wheels with 34" tires.

Sparky what gear ratio do you have. I'm looking at the same size but may go a bit taller.

3.42. I wouldn't want any taller on them.

this is my baby. 1989 Chevy dually one ton with big block 454. 77,000 original miles and still the original tires on the back. my grandpa bought it brand new in 89 and after he bought it had the front air dam installed, along with window deflectors and front vent shade, and the stainless steel running boards with lights. the last 5 years he was alive I helped him purchase and install the black spoiler, side deflectors on the extended windows, and the wheel simulators. he died in April of 2011 and I bought the truck off his estate for $3500. not a bad deal for the sentimental truck. oh and I was the only one he let drive it.

thank you. wanted RIP GPA but it was taken. I haven't taken anything out of the truck either since he died. he always had a fly swatter under his seat for swatting flies when he was waiting on my gma at a store. plus his shields for his glasses are still in the glove box and I left the comb he had in there on the sun visor. also left the Cobra cb radio in there.

Finally washed her after the drop and removed the roof rack today. I plan on a few more subtle appearance mods this week

Looks great with the roof rack off. Now you need to tackle the side molding.
Thanks man! Yes sir I tried to today with some kanthal 28awg wire but it wasn't happening so I will try it with a heat gun and use eraser wheel for residue. I frikkin pulled off the bow tie outer piece on rear emblem bc it was basically going to fall off so it looks weird now lol

When I removed my side molding I used a hair dryer and 25lb test fishing line. Molding came off very easy. The 3M eraser wheel is a must. Then you can hit it with some ScratchX 2.0 which will blend the paint nicely and remove any lines left over from the molding.

I am definitely jealous of your TBSS wheels. I love those wheels.

Oh thnx man those are great tips will def note those!

Yeah I originally had some generic 16in wheels that did not flow well at all when I got the tb 3 yrs ago.

I got lucky and scored the wheels with tires for $500 from an SS owner.

And thanks man that was the first mod I did to it and I wish everyday I had the 6.0!

I have 4-5 months left to pay this off finally, so I've been looking for low mile SS's.

Spotted a tbss with 8100 og miles for $25k

If it was not for gas prices I would have bought a TBSS myself. I just paid of my 07 LT this past June and enjoying not having a car payment.

Luckily my LT came with the Chevy 18" five spoke wheels. They definitely look better than the 16" wheels that come on most TBs.

I have been looking for a set of SS wheels and tires, but have not found them for the right price. $500 is a great price for wheels and tires.

I love the 18's too keeping them in the closet tho. I'm still trying to get around to painting my SS wheels but now it's a bit cold out now:frown:

Sitting in the driveway, waiting for a reman steering rack and tires to arrive. AT least it's 80 degrees today, although it may plummet to 70 by the time the parts show up Wednesday. Brrrrrrr......
