Sparky what gear ratio do you have. I'm looking at the same size but may go a bit taller.

this is my baby. 1989 Chevy dually one ton with big block 454. 77,000 original miles and still the original tires on the back. my grandpa bought it brand new in 89 and after he bought it had the front air dam installed, along with window deflectors and front vent shade, and the stainless steel running boards with lights. the last 5 years he was alive I helped him purchase and install the black spoiler, side deflectors on the extended windows, and the wheel simulators. he died in April of 2011 and I bought the truck off his estate for $3500. not a bad deal for the sentimental truck. oh and I was the only one he let drive it.

Thanks man! Yes sir I tried to today with some kanthal 28awg wire but it wasn't happening so I will try it with a heat gun and use eraser wheel for residue. I frikkin pulled off the bow tie outer piece on rear emblem bc it was basically going to fall off so it looks weird now loldmanns67 said:Looks great with the roof rack off. Now you need to tackle the side molding.
dmanns67 said:When I removed my side molding I used a hair dryer and 25lb test fishing line. Molding came off very easy. The 3M eraser wheel is a must. Then you can hit it with some ScratchX 2.0 which will blend the paint nicely and remove any lines left over from the molding.
I am definitely jealous of your TBSS wheels. I love those wheels.
I hear you man I get 300 miles on highway and it blows Im in LA traffic and back and fourth from Long Beach to LA everydaydmanns67 said:If it was not for gas prices I would have bought a TBSS myself. I just paid of my 07 LT this past June and enjoying not having a car payment.
Luckily my LT came with the Chevy 18" five spoke wheels. They definitely look better than the 16" wheels that come on most TBs.
I have been looking for a set of SS wheels and tires, but have not found them for the right price. $500 is a great price for wheels and tires.

If I'm all city lucky to get 220 on a tank.
Yes I agree those oem 5 spokes are nice!
And congrats on paying that baby off my man
Thanks Venom! Yeah I did alot of research and amazon was the cheapest that I saw at $283 shipped. I like them alot, they are solid springs and good value imo.Venomhatch said:Hey Mac. Nice setup! Lowering looks good! Can you let me know if you got a really good deal, where you got them from?
