Plasti dip worn out audio buttons

School starts soon and money is going to be tight soon. My 06 radio buttons are worn off from use. Some are white. Some are black. I'm thinking of plasti dipping it. Good idea or bad idea?

I would buy a smaller thing of black paint and just paint it. Will last longer and prob cheaper too for just a little bit of paint

Ebay has them for 39.95. I replaced mine and it looks like new again. You can buy individiual buttons for $6.95 each

For real tho $40 for some buttons?? Could go to a salvage yard and get the whole radio for probably that price. Just sayin..
