plasti dip question...

just a quick question for those who plasti dipped...

was thinking of plasti dipping my rims in the next few weeks and wanted to know what you guys did about the balancing weights? did I spray the balancing weights too?

most ppl try to put the weights on the inside of the rim but if you have them on the outside i would prolly just spray them so it hides it more just my opinion

thats what i was going to do...only downside would be peeling and respraying when its time for new tires right?

you will have to re do the plastic dip every time u do new tread but its only 6 bucks a can so its not that bad

yea its only $6 here as well.. as others have said.. just spray it... by the time comes to peel it off and reapply, might be time for new tires anyway... if it peels off of every other surface, it will come off the weights too..
