You all knew this was coming.

I set out tonight, hoping to capture some more abstract and crisp shots than capturing the whole scene. I started out shooting with my 70-200mm f2.8 on Bulb mode in the beginning sticking with my aperture of f8, keeping the shutter open from the moment the firework exploded til the next firework was about to explode. I kept my ISO low near 200 so there would be almost no noise at all. I soon changed to my 28-70mm f2.8 for the end of the show and closed my aperture down to f20-f22.

Some of my work over the years. I like to photograph fast stuff for the most part! My camera travels with me as I travel the country on my job.

For anyone around Erie, PA, if you bank with ErieBank you'll see this shot on the cover and the month of July in their 2014 Calendar! I took this shot at the beach at Presque Isle State Park. It's one of my best shots ever!

The race cars I've worked on. All taken by me. I wish we had digital back then. Film and processing were expensive.

Been working my butt off to save for a new camera and a few new lenses. As I really did need a new camera with plenty of resolution along with being a full frame. I was originally going to try for the D3s or D3x, but absolutely hated the button layout, which is what matters the most when you're in an fast paced environment. So I went with the D800. Same button layout as my D300s and 36 something megapixel full frame. It has a noticeably slower fps than my D300s(9fps) at 4fps, but when your file sizes are incredibly larger at ~80mb a shot, I see why. Here are some photos taken with my D800 and a couple of my new lenses.
