My uncle owns a gun shop with a range in the back he allows customers to use.
It felt like the Sr wanted to squirm around in my hand which was a problem I had with the Glock 17c I shot last time at that range. What I liked about the 1911 was that it had enough weight to counter it's own recoil and drop back to center after trigger pull. However I am not opposed to the idea of a 1911 chambered in .40 S&W because I suspect it will react similarly to the. 45.dmanns67 said:Kimber makes great .45s but they are expensive.
