Just to be clear, the factory alarm (content theft) can be set by merely locking the doors by pressing the drivers door lock button, or using the keyfob, while the drivers door is open.

The alarm is automatic whether you want it or not as soon as it's locked and doors closed. If the alarm is going off, I would assume it's not sensing the door was unlocked properly.
I see. I do manually lock the driver door and the others. Would make sense. Thanks Tj. You've been helpful my guy!
