NASA engineer thwarts package thieves

You may have seen this one on the news but this is the full story and all the glorious gotchas. Was even able to recover the device every time!

Although I haven't had a theft issue, I'd probably come up with something that sounds a loud horn right above their heads if they pick it up with cameras all around.

My dad was just asking me about porch pirates the other day. Haven't had any issues here, but that's awesome, I'd love to put that out and see what happens.

A smoke bomb would be a real panic though. Can you imagine you put it on the seat in your car and it starts spewing smoke!

I get a lot of packages and haven't lost a single one. We're in a small neighbourhood in a rural area away from the city riff-raff. If it ever happens though, I'm going full Joker!
