I have a '99 YZ125. Plenty for me!

For the street, I have this:

My first sportbike was a '95 CBR900RR. Loved that bike!

Used to do a few hare scrambles on an '84 XR200R. No longer have this one, but I wish I did.

Great looking bikes fellas!

I've always been a huge Yamaha fan. I've still got an old XS750 triple I'm planning on restoring.

Attached you'll see a pic of my old Road Star. I did all my own work blacking it all out, the fairing and putting in the Yamaha stage 4 kit. With good 97 octane or higher gas, my dyno runs were a little over 94hp and 105tq. On pump gas, low 80's and 90's. Unfortunately, since it was paid off, I had to sell it to pay off some debt.

I've never been a HD fan, but the aftermarket high performance parts scene is pretty limited for Yamahas. A family member offered to seel me his 08 Dyna for a price I couldn't pass up. Since I bought it, I've painted it, installed cams, high comp pistons, changed the flywheel... basically made it an open road racer. Stop light to stop light, it's nothing special, but those cams kick in after 3k revs and she runs damn good. No dyno runs though. I've got two sets of 103" heads and some other goodies I'm going to start working on. Gonna make her breathe well.

First motorcycle was a Yamaha 50 cc scooter followed by a Yamaha GT80 dirt bike...which was then followed by a Suzuki RV125 cc dual sport then a Suzuki RM250 race bike and Honda CR500 trail bike at the same time. Those were followed by a '93 Honda CBR 900RR Fireblade then an '01 Yamaha R1. Sold the R1 while recovering from a bike wreck on a buddies R6. Got back into riding in '06 with an '85 Honda VF750F Interceptor, That was followed by picking up two more Interceptors ('83 and '84) that have since become parts to support the '85. Also briefly owned an '81 Kawasaki GPZ550. an '89 Honda CBR600F replaced it..had ment to ride the CBR while restoring the Interceptor but the CBR needed too much work. So it was sold to make room for a Honda CB900F which i never got because the owner flaked out on me and was unable to contact him on the day i had the money for it which he knew was coming...So later on that same day i picked up a '76 Yamaha DT250C Dual sport and couldnt be happier with it. The thing is a hoot to ride!...Currently looking at picking up a '78 Yamaha DT400E.

With that all said...the current bikes: The '85 VF750F Interceptor and the '76 DT250C

I'm glad you revived this thread fletch! I actually sold my little ninja (I miss it tons...) but I ran into the guy who bought it at Jack-in the box a couple days ago. I can post pics if it USED to be mine, right?!? I knew right away it was mine, I saw that familiar dent in the tank from a snap-on toolbox. I was just going to hit the drive through, but I had to go in and see if the same guy owned it (he does). Still looking pretty:
