Got my 06 Envoy in March to replace my 95 Jimmy that had 200k on it. The Envoy had 79,800 then its got like 95,500 now. Other than mods its had a steering wheel position sensor, oil changes and TIRES. The tire thing has me a bit upset cause they had 11/32 tread when I bought it and now they have 4/32. A bit of research showed me why. A 50,000 mile tire shows a treadwear index of 500 -560 and mine are a 180. So what is that an 18,000 mile tire? No wonder its shot!!!

I am the second owner 224,700 plus and still running great. Still original motor and transmission. Need to replace upper Ball Joints and may flip UCA at same time. Also looking at the PCM4less. Getting harder to drive with Gas Prices and loss of MPG after the lift, new tires, spacers and such !

Almost at 177K now (200K when you add non-powered 4-down towing behind a motorhome) and 10.3 years of ownership. Posted above and have since replaced the #1 coil, serp belt, tensioner assembly and idler pully. Hoping to run the wheels off.

Little delayed in getting on here but I am at 258,000. I have a 2002 TB. I bought it at 179,000. It was not taken very good care of and I have put more in repairs into this truck than I paid for it, but it has been a trooper and now an active advocate for GMTNation.com in Dallas / Fort Worth area.

A little over 104k. If it lasts at least until my loan is repaid in two years, I will be happy, but I do expect much more of it.

Personally I don't find mileage to tell the entire story, I find hour-meters when it comes to engine runtime to be a little more handy, and even then if there was a metric for weighting runtime hours with the average RPM and load (1 person in the car, or 3 people all fast-food junkies, or hauling a boat?) to likely be the best in judging just how solid the motor itself is.

As for the rest of the drivetrain, obviously mileage is tied strongly to it but I would bet that weighting it based on load and average speed could tell a better story.

Anyone else's thoughts on these theories?
