Mixed Thoughts on Plastdip

Well I was searching on TBSS last night and liked the Fender stripes I had seen on some of the TBSS's some I tried it. I also plastidip's inside the rear door molding. What are your thoughts?View attachment 22713

I don't like the thin stripes, but a little wider (at least double the thickness) might look good. The molding looks better, but would look much better shaved.

:iagree: :iagree: make the stripes maybe 2 times the size. i always wanted to do that. i think it looks awesome. molding looks cool too. something different :thumbsup:

Thanks guys! I removed the stripes and are goona go twive the size with a slight more of an angle....... I am goona do the front door moldings too. I would shave but i'd rather not have dings.....:biggrin:

yes.. the wider the better... the front stripe should be 2", then a 1" gap, then the back stripe should 2.5" like so...

I like the door moldings.

For those that are telling him to de-mold, go back and look at the pictures. He absolutely needs to keep the moldings on his truck!

My moldings looked like that before I removed them and like the others say, be smart when parking and so far so good (knock on wood) lol

I like the molding, but not the stripes...at least like you have them.

I decided against the stripes.... But I would be worried to demold because of the Out line mark they leave on the door on some... and Door dings especially!!:undecided:

U could just buff out the outlines. I had slight outlines after I Demolded View attachment 22958
But a nice buff and they came right off. I try to park way in the back of any parking lot or if I do get a close one I park to where there is definitely enough space to where they can get out and not ding Mayo lol

Damnit dismiss the last image tried sending pics through phone and it added the pic when I swapped roof racks too :frown:
