This is the Michelin Uptis, pretty interesting concept. I wonder how much of a ride difference you'd be able to feel between a traditional tire, and this one?
Probably that would be the case but, then can you imagine the weight of these things? I mean rubber isn't light so then bigger brakes would be required to stop the flywheel effect of four corners of these things.I would think they would have sidewalls for appearance and durability reasons. They are just cutaway for demonstration purposes.
Yeah but, as TollKeeper said they have overheating problems so you still have TPMS which would then stand for TemPMonitoringSystem...And TPMS would be a thing of the past. That whole system costs money.
