Just sometimes measuring round items like a sway bar or piece of pipe without a caliper and just a tape measure can be difficult. Tom Taylor from Rock Auto in May's newsletter shows a way too simple method to help folks out. For example use your adjustable wrench and snug it up to your sway bar. Remove your wrench, place it on a table and measure the opening of the wrench. You now have the diameter of the sway bar!
