Nice Fj saw today with mud tires and steel bumper.

Pretty standard sighting here. Still dont really like them.

For enjoying the trails, I prefer vehicles with real windows and narrower pillars. The H3 has the same issue - those are not windows, but "viewing ports."

However, they DO perform well and have a LOT of aftermarket and factory parts support for offroading. Compared to our platform. :frown:

My buddy does better than I thought he would with an H3 5cyl 5 speed, he just wishes he could select 2wd sometimes.

Never really cared for those. It is like they looked at a toy and decided to make the vehicle look like one (that blue color with the white roof doesn't help). Looks like they are trying too hard or something. Then of course they stuck some tail lights and side markers on it that stick out asking to be broken. Not to mention the body tearing problems they had at first if you actually tried to go off road with it.

Just all around ugly. I'd take one if someone gave one to me, but only to turn around and sell it for something not so cheesy looking
