Just a question about the ads

So, maybe it's just me but do the ads in the banner above adjust to what you google/search for when not on the site but are logged in? Do ppl see different ads based on that? I recently was searching for a florist to send flowers to someone and now I see flower ads... lol

I notice this on alot of sites right now I have Ultra Bright LEDS ad lol
 
yea it adjusts accordingly... like i notice alot of ads about particular things going on in Ohio.. guess what.. i live in Ohio :crackup:

Ohh... as long as nobody else sees them I'm good then! Cougars are the least of my worries....:rotfl::thumbsup:

Yes, Google uses "Targeted Advertising" driven by cookies. In my opinion, they are tracking what you search, and that invades my privacy.

Personally, I've opted out of the advertising cookie. Ads are still served, but they seem to be based more on the content you are currently viewing instead of your search patterns. You can opt-out if you so choose... I would choose the permanent option that uses a browser plugin to ensure that clearing out your cookies doesn't remove your opt-out status:

Thanks, I'll look into that. Although the thought of seeing trucks and boobies flash back and forth has it's up side too.....:rotfl:
