good morning.
I have a question about the inner Tierod.
I heard a lot of reports and used it as a reference.
I also saw many YouTube.
Many people used blue "Loctite".

I just finished the replacement of the suspension on the driver's side side.
The inner Tierod came off immediately with a special tool for inner Tierod and Breaker Bar.
There was no need to add heat.

I fixed the inner tierod with a blue loctite.

However, when I checked it again, the GM manual stated that it would use 262 Loctite.
This was a red Loctite.
Is it better to remove the inner Tierod again and make it a red loctite?

IIRC, the ACDelco inners came with red loctite so that would be the one to use on it.

If you torqued them good and tight, I wouldn't worry about it. From what I've seen, red thread locker isn't what it's cracked up to be. Here's also a video about blue thread locker.

thank you.
I checked Henkel-Adhesives, but in addition to red and blue. There was green and purple.
Maybe what is handled by the country is different.
I was interested in orange, so I will look for a place where I can buy it.

Same here. I do have a bit of blue gel left in a squeeze tube, so I've been using that up, but when it's gone I'm not getting any more.
