2004 TB ETX 4WD 4.2L 195K miles
Just installed a magnaflow Cat and purchased a Bluetooth OBDII Scanner. Using Car Gauge Pro and Torque. These readings are from Car Gauge Pro.

Started her up this morning and got 1 pending codes P0131 O2 Sensor Voltage Low (b1s1), no check engine light, car was running odd and felt like misfires but cruise control worked. Transmission which is only 2yrs old was intermittently losing 4th gear lock up.

She ran fine a high speed (70-80mph) but acceleration would occasionally be sluggish and when I got to work she sounded like she was running on 3 cylinders. No Check Engine Light, no Pending codes except O2 Sesnor P0131, P0134, and P0133.

Then I pulled the Intermittent Codes, 50 of them...is this normal, abnormal, or do I need a new PCM?

Best part is...I work on a range 20 miles in the middle of the woods, 45 miles from home. The evening Commute should be a blast!!!

Does Torque pick them up? Car Gauge Pro, while nice that it pulled more than just PCM codes, can be a little, well, weird.

Yeah, Torque is better at straight code reading and live data. CGP we use for non-powertrain codes as it's the only one that can read them.

Those could also be historical. I'd disconnect the battery for 30 minutes and clean the throttle body (you have to when disconnecting the battery). This will reset everything.

Torque only sees the pending code for O2 Sensor High Bank 1 Sensor 1 (P0132) and nothing else.
That being said it was definitely missing and the torque converter was not locking up, probably due to the miss...however, once I shut her off and restarted her she ran fine.

Throttle body is clean, cleaned her 2 weeks ago but I can disconnect the battery again. we shall see what happens

Ran well on the 45 mile drive home. I didn't notice any misses. Only pending codes are bank 1 sensor 1 O2, but not check engine light, so not enough error to set it.

It probably will on the next drive. Maybe your O2 sensor is borked.

Just like we say with computers, when in doubt, reboot!

Last night i was going to investigate but life...I did tighten the bolts on the ECU connectors. All 3 were slightly loose, about 1.5 to 2 turns each holding the head of the wrench. This morning's 45mile commute was easy breezy.

Unfortunately none of the recent issues inspire confidence in what was until recently a bulletproof vehicle.
