NEED HELP information display

Hey guys
Trying to keep my 08 TB rolling as long as I can. The information display is out. For a while it would go out then I hit a bump ,it pops back on. Off again..Then I would have bang on the top of steering column to get it back on. Now its out completely.
I've seen companys that redo the lights .But not the display.Any ideas?

Try following this Video to Perform an IPC R&R... then just remove the 24 Pin Plug on the TOP of the IPC and re-insert it:

I don't think that was his question.

I believe these clusters suffer from bad or weak solder joints that can be reflowed. There are a few videos on YT on how to do this or companies that will do it for you if you're not comfortable doing it. The fact that hitting it would bring it back temporarily shows this as the likely cause.

There are eBay companies that rebuild clusters, and sometimes you can find local rebuilders that can do it same day.

Usually, as mentioned, its just a solder joint.
