Where'd you get that done and how much did it cost? Did they provide flow numbers?

I think ExtrudeHone has done a few I6 manifolds, not sure if the OP had his done there.

AlekG on the OS did this on his old TB quite a few years back and did it again on his new TB about 2 years ago.

If I have to buy a new manifold for my 02 then Ill have this done, but fortunately my stock manifold has held up for 10 years!:wootwoot:

It was ExtrudeHone. I did not pay an extra $100 for the flow testing. I did negotiate a special rate for myself. Still not cheap though.

Those 06+ manifolds look almost weird, as if the O2 sensor only really reads the output of 3 cylinders or something.

Wow......sure looks smoooooth.

Is the OE gasket metal? I personally have always reused them if so. Otherwise....it's cheap insurance to replace it.

Does anyone know from experience?

I've re-used it. The GM manual says re-use it. Shouldn't be a problem, save your money.

I had my honed and thermal coated manifold installed today. No broken bolts. Paid for 2.5 hours of labor and install went smooth. My original manifold had a very fine crack in it, surprise surprise. A little frustrated I was not aware of this and could have gotten it replaced for free under warranty but then I would not have an awesome honed manifold. Was it worth all the money I spent? I don't know. Butt dyno seems happy but we all know how accurate that is.
