Hvac heater switch

My air and heat 1-5 is broke only 4&5 work. Is there anyway to reset it and if not is a write up to replace it ? I forgot how to take all the plastic covering off the front of the dash.

MUCH cheaper than the control module. I would embrace it, as far as failures go!

So spending 100$ on a hvac used at a junk yard is too expencive? And i will add when its on 5 and im in the drive through stopped the trucks shuts off is that a battery issue or does it have to do with the air thing ?

Spending a DIME on one is too expensive if it isn't the root cause. Troubleshoot it! Got a meter?

Got any more clues? You say when the blower control is on 5, is the blower running or not? And your ENGINE stops running? Does the voltmeter or tach fluctuate when this happens? Does it start right back up when you turn the key?

Yes on meter, im just not up to playing tech ATM.
No blower, just the air ...engine stalls. tach bounces 6 down to 1 to 3 than stalls. This only happens if wheel is turned to the far left or right in the drive through.
Starts right up just fine. Vdc from bat is 10.5v running 14.8v
Every other control works except 1,2,3 on the dial.

I'm going to pick up this battery on Saturday.

Yes and a Costco but no membership for either, plus "megatron" by interstate is recommended as i run several pieces of equipment in the TB.
